I have been doing online research and need help w/ the alphabet...so pretty pretty please....Domo arigato gozaimasu....

Japanese is the poster child for languages for which computer translation is extremely unreliable. Kudasai does mean please, but only as part of a verb asking to please do something. In the form that you used it, you were asking for a favor. Therefore, onegai shimasu is more appropriate.
