Chemicals, whether inhaled or ingested could cause cell mutations....which later in life could cause life threatening diseases like cancer, sickle cell anemia, myloproliferative diseases.....etc. If you accidentally ingest chemicals, you should call your poison control hotline or seek medical attention immediately. You should always wear protective gear, like a face mask and safetey glasses when working with chemicals if you can't avoid it. It's best not to be around any chemicals at all. Cell mutations are more than likely cause by chemicals and pollution. Go Green!

Depends on what you're ingesting, some chemicals will simply burn through the lining of your digestive tract as you ingest them---hence they'll hurt really badly. Other chemicals won't burn as you swallow them, they'll just kill you. I'm not saying which ones do what either way :)

typiclly no unless it disrupts acids which can lead to a chemical reaction to some bodily fluids in your stomache can burn holes or create blisters inside your stomache that are very painful

Depends on the chemical.
Drink lye or battery acid and it burns like hell going down or up.
Inhale carbon monoxide and you won't even realize it.

Yes, it can burn your throat and esophagus, which is in your chest and neck. I reccommend you don't try it if that's your intention because it can be very harmful for you and possibly kill you.

yes offcourse it does if it constantly happening it can effect you now or 20 years wear safety gear or tell the boss to stik it!but if your boss warns you about safety and you dont listen then its your silly fault ok?
