My husband & I have been married over 5 years with an (almost) 4-year-old son, but we are unable to have any more children. We would very much like to adopt. My husband is an engineer, and I'm a stay-at-home Mom (who used to be an engineer). Do you know anyone who might consider talking or emailing us about adopting?

BE VERY careful soliciting birth mothers on line. You need to take this a little more seriously and do some research. Unfortunately, there are many scam artists out there. I would recommend that you either consult with a reputable adoption attorney, or contact an agency in your area and begin there. It doesn't hurt to go to your local library and do some reading on adoption either, you have a ton to learn, and a ton to go through. Adoption is not easy, financially, emotionally, physically, and requires a ton of patience. Read, and you shall learn!

I do not think it is right for you to solicitate pregnant women on this forum, or any for that matter. I commend you for your intentions, do not get me wrong, but to approach a young woman who might be scared and confused and may not know yet what she wants? And what of the girls that scam good natured people such as yourselves? You need to contact a lawyer who works with these kinds of things. There are pregnant women who go through lawyers to find adoptive parents all the time. Look into local options before you jump into cyber-space.

I'm sorry i don't but there are always young girls on here asking what to do. Come here in the middle of the day around 1 and up to like 6 o'clock est time. I know how you feel. I'm 30 and God has blessed me with a baby, a baby i thought I would never have. Ask around. Good Luck and God Bless

I think the best thing to do is search the internet......it would be more helpful. Besides half of the teens that are pregnant are really not pregnant and they just want attention, I would post somewhere else
