That's a VERY open question. Generally a long time as cardio is NOT the best way to burn calories, weight training is.

If you're just starting a cardio program, and nothing but cardio, it could be up to 6 weeks or more before you start to notice any difference in body mass.

You have to build your endurance and strengthen your cardiovascular system. Without this, you simply won't be able to go long enough to burn suffiecient calories to notice an effect.

Once you're in shape and have a good endurance you can see the effects rapidly. Do a triathlon, you'll see the effects. It just takes a LONG time to get there.

In my personal experience, I have lost about 3 pounds a week doing cardio for 30-60 minutes 6 days a week. You might lose less or more, it just depends on your body. But you will definitely get results sooner or later!

depends on how long you are doing the cardio and at what intensity. It also depends on how much you weigh now. Good luck!
