I know there is a recommended time daily to exercise (30 min or something??) but wouldnt it depend on what you do? Whats the amount of cal;ories recommended to burn exercising each day? (Im a 17 y.o. girl, 5'10" and 129 lbs if that helps.)

Sorry, there has never been a recommended number of calories to burn. The reasons are because the important things are:
exercising on a regular basis
improving your cardiovascular system
calories burned varies according to your weight, what exercise you are doing, your metabolism rate

What is important to know is that ALL exercise is beneficial, will assist in weight control, will burn calories and will encourage health.

That is why the emphasis is placed instead just doing it...exercising. And it is recommended that you exercise a minimum of 3 times a week for 30 minutes each time.
