God wants us to be happy. Why wouldn't he let us?
I don't have a verse, this is just my opinion.

It is a serious thing that you should pray about and not rush into anything. It would also be a good idea to talk to your pastor.

The Bible says that the innocent spouse is not "under bondage" in the case of divorce (after adultery, abandonment, etc.) In other words, you are allowed to remarry.

The Scripture quoted by another here was taken out of context. A single person can better serve GOD if she remains single and has that gift from GOD. But not everyone has the gift. It is a matter of prayer to know what gifts GOD has given you. Paul taught people not to marry (if that was their gift) but he also said a person doesn't sin if she marries.
You can't just quote one verse. You must look at the whole passage.

It's in 1 Corinthians 7

I Corinthians 7 explains that those who are divorced should not remarry; doing so is considered adultery. If a spouse has died then a man or woman are free to remarry but they must not be unequally yoked (i.e. a believer marrying a nonbeliever).

1 Corinthians 7:26 I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, I say, that it is good for a man so to be. 1 Corinthians 7: 27 Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife. 1 Corinthians 7: 28 But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you. If you are married seek not to be loose but if you have been divorced then if you do get married again you have not sinned. Remember that Paul is writing to the one that have trusted the Lord Jesus Christ and what He did on the cross for all that would believe. We are not under the law but under grace. Romans 6: 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Actually,
That is the only reason to divorce and marry another.

P.S. for most, remarry means to marry the X.

Mat 19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and he that marrieth her when she is put away committeth adultery.

Another note: Adultery is fornication of, or between those married, but not to each other.

there became someone in my existence. I used to say "She's the single" she informed me each and every thing she concept i had to take heed to. i presumed her and quite replaced my existence for her. the truth, in spite of the indisputable fact that became that her movements did not tournament her words. What do I do? a persons'' movements talk louder than words. Its that straightforward. How does it impression my believe aspect? It distinctly impacts it now. no count how a lot the affection is there on my area, I look after antagonistic to it being a one-way affair.

It depends.

If you're a Roman Catholic, remarriage after divorce for whatever reason would be a sin unless you also obtained an annulment or were widowed.

I believe that a different result would obtain if you're a Protestant.

I have no scripture to quote to you. I've never formed the habit of quoting scripture.

No, that's one of the two grounds for divorce in the New Testament.

Matthew 5:32 But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery. And whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

Matthew 19:3 And Pharisees came up to him and tested him by asking, "Is it lawful to divorce one's wife for any cause?" 4 He answered, "Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, 5 and said, 'Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh'? 6 So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate." 7 They said to him, "Why then did Moses command one to give a certificate of divorce and to send her away?" 8 He said to them, "Because of your hardness of heart Moses allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. 9 And I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery."

The other allowance for divorce is abandonment by an unbelieving spouse.

1 Corinthians 7:13 If any woman has a husband who is an unbeliever, and he consents to live with her, she should not divorce him. 14 For the unbelieving husband is made holy because of his wife, and the unbelieving wife is made holy because of her husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy. 15 But if the unbelieving partner separates, let it be so. In such cases the brother or sister is not enslaved. God has called you to peace.
