I am a recent graduate who recently got hired. So, I am invited to the dinner meeting at a mid-priced restaurant. Around 10 poeple are gonna be present at the meeting. Most of them are important poeple who are criminal judges and successful business owners. Discussion of the event will be on specific project. So, I am just wondering exactly what to wear. I don't know the formality of the dinner. I don't want to be over-dressed nor unde-dressed. Need your advice!

Thank you all!
Finally I've decided to wear baggy jeans and t-shirt that says "above law."

A full business suit would probably be best. It sounds like you will be eating with local professionals, they will likely be dressed business professional and you should, too. Even if everyone else is dressed business casual, dressing business professional will show that your job and this project are important for you, and you can always take off a suit jacket.

Wear a suit and tie. If it turns out to be not quite so formal, you can remove your suit jacket. That will be in keeping with the business atmosphere.

Make sure you iron your shirt!!

Wear a grey suit with a pale colored shirt with a tie that is a shade or two darker than your shirt. Looking sharp is the key but you don't have to look like you are going to court either.

A nicely pressed collared shirt and a nice suit jacket. I think you could skip on the tie. Make sure your shirt is nicely tucked in and you have on a nice belt, socks and shoes that match are nice.

you could wear nice pants and a sport coat. it's one step down from a suit, but a little nicer than just pants and a button-down shirt. that way, if no one else is wearing a jacket, you can just take yours off and blend in.
