Was it easy to understand? I watched Passion of the Christ and even though I was raised Christian and knew the story, it was hard to follow since they were speaking in Hebrew. Is the Nativity Story easier to follow?

Well I don't understand Aramaic either.

It was very easy to understand. As others have said even a young child can understand it the first time it's watched. I'd defiantly recommend it! The Nativity Story has no foreign language but it's very believable. I hope you like it!
[I had a really hard time understanding Passion of the Christ too because the story flipped flopped around as well as the subtitles. The Nativity Story is nothing like that.]

Nativity Story is in English.

"The Passion of the Christ" was in Aramaic, not Hebrew)

They weren't speaking in Hebrew in the Passion of the Christ. That was Aramaic.

I saw the movie in December with my wife and four young children. And none of us had a hard time following the story. It was a fantastic movie for the Advent.

I didn't see it but I'm psyched that Mary's not white. In the old little drummer boy cartoon every character, including Joseph, was Middle Eastern yet for some reason Mary and Jesus were blonde, pale, blue eyes and even more shockingly......not sunburned to a crisp!

The Nativity is wonderfully made and easy to follow. It's even good for children.

yeah i saw it in december. i personally think so. i haven't seen the passion though so i don't have your comparison.
