Im 25 years old, I have what I believe to Keratosis Pilaris on my upper arms. I also think I might have it on my cheeks as well. For a while I have been thinking it is rosacea, but Im not sure. If it is KP, is there a cream or something out there that can be used on BOTH arms and face?

I suggest consulting a dermatologist to avoid irritating your skin further. Facial skin is more sensitive.

Here's what I was able to find:

Usually women are the ones embarrassed by a skin condition but guys get self-conscious too. My keratosis pilaris really got to me in my late teens. I got made fun of by my so-called friends and became dptressed and withdrawn. Comments like, what's that leprosy stuff on your arms?

I can't tell you how many dates and social outings I've missed because of keratosis pilaris. I always thought just what if I didn't have this. But thanks to this program I'm almost totally clear. I'm dating now. I'm actually asking my friends to go to the beach. I'm more outgoing. Life is good.

Im not positive that what you have is the same but my daughter developed white spots on her ankles about 5 yrs ago...it spread all the way up her legs to the point where she would not show her legs. After taking her to about 3 different dermatoligists...I had the dr take a scrape sample to be examined and it turned out to be a fungus. She was prescribed Lamasil pills which cleared up the spots in about 3 or 4 weeks.

I have this on my upper arms as well. It is only noticable when i do physical activity. Not nice is it? I asked my doc about this and he saud if you go to a pharmacy, there is a cream that reduces the appearance of it. Not sure if it is suitable for the face, but see you pharmasist or doctor just to be sure, as it is a kind of acid
