I'm in training for the fire department, and one of my trainers is a former bodybuilder. She's fantastic, and has a terrific attitude and a great amount of patience with me. After looking at the picture of her on the business card she gave me, I decided to look online at other pictures of female bodybuilders as sort of a motivational boost - if they can be that strong, I can do this - but every single last female bodybuilder that I've found online looks like they're posing for a porn flick, and their websites look like porn sites. They're half-naked, fully nude, some of them looking like the camera caught them in the midst of an orgasm.
What's the deal?
I texted my trainer to ask her, and she hasn't got back to me yet, so I thought I'd ask here.

It's probably not too polite to ask your trainer that! lol
Some, who want to make money off of their websites, do pose like that. Many many many more are in the sport purely as athletes, and would never consider putting up websites with sexy photos.

bodybuilding is an expensive sport when you are competing at the National and Pro levels. many female bodybuilders have websites and host chat rooms etc. to make extra income. i have a friend that is a NPC competitor in San Diego she hosts a chat room several nights a week and makes about $800 for 10 hours of work. whole foods, supplements, anabolic steroids and growth hormone is very expensive when you use them the better part of the year.

ummm no...I don't think of myself as a female bodybuilder, but I am extremely muscular. I think most female bodybuilders look gross; I don't like to see veins coming out and have male pecs. I don't want to be a porn star, so there's your answer lol .
