I don't know that it's any harder than making male friends. I know I have a significant number more male friends than I did 10 years ago. The number hasn't changed quite so much in the way of female friends.

On the contrary I believe that as women develop and are no longer girls trying to impress others, we become beautiful in who we are and step into that awesome place that is called living with out any hangups or Baggage, you can just be you, and it is so good,that starts at 27 on up, if you allow it.

yes it is harder, i hate to make new friends with other women ,it takes to much time and effort to be friends with another female,we females are mean! :) women are too territorial with anything we get our hands on.

I think it would be easier because generally most people mature as they grow older and everybody has more wisdom on what to do in situations.

Its hard to make female friends when your young...To much petty stuff with girls of all ages..They cant have an honest relationship because of competing with each other...

I really don't know because I have always gotten along better with men than with women.
