I have been singing for a while no teachers thought but I’m getting one soon hopefully .umm I have noticed lately when i sing it hurts my voice after a while and makes it horse I think I strained it or something but if I’m doing something wrong please tell me what it could be and if u have any tips on making my voice feel better.

You are singing from your throat and chest and not your diaphragm. Pull your notes from deep inside and the strain on your vocal chords will be much less

Stop singing and get to a professional before you do anything else. Drink warm tea, not hot. It sounds like you've strained your voice and will need professional help to nurse it back to health before you continue. At least go for 1 consultation with someone reputable as soon as possible.

hmm...well does it happen all the time? I would say just make sure you are not trying to sing high with your chest voice. Your chest voice is what you use for lower notes. Then you have a breaking note and you switch into your head voice which is the higher notes. Also, my choir teacher would say drink water. haha. I say just drink water before you sing. :-)
