The God of Islam is more transcendent than the God of Jews and Christians.
http://www.islamfortoday.com/shia.htm
Jews and Christians agree on who Yahweh is, apart from the disagreements about that within those two groups, but disagree about who Jesus was/is.
Of course all three differ on what God wants from us, both Judaism and Islam believing in their laws, while Christianity has one foot in laws and another foot in grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Some Christians have a lot more weight on one of those feet than the other.

There were many Jewish concepts of what God was in1 AD. One was the vengeful version. Another was the forgiving version. This is what Christ taught. If you check, the prophets of the old testament such as Isaiah talked about God being vengeful to the unforgiving. And of a God working to "fix" mankind. Of a God that will never give up on a single person. A God who will bring all mankind to heaven. Paul calls this "Apokotastasis". The restoration of all things.

you are correct in that they call view themselves as worshiping the God of Abraham
hence they are all Abramatic religions
One major difference though might be in the Christian view of God as apposed to the Jewish and Islamic view.
Most of Christianity espouses a Tripartite-monotheism in that they believe in one God with three parts
while Judaism and Islam espouse an absolute monotheism saying that God has no parts and is not divisible.

Christianty believes that Jesus is the Messiah and God. Islam says jesus was just a teacher, and the Jews are still waiting for the Messiah. Jews and Christians have the same God and same bible, but Islam as the Koran and they call there god Allah. There is no similarties with the excepteion that the Jews and Christains both read/follow the Old testament.

Concerning the concept of God, both judaism and islam (not islam and christianity) have similar concept, which is ''God is One, who has no son'', and that is the common message of all other God's messengers since Abraham(pbuh), it was even the main message of Jesus(pbuh) ''love ur Lord The One and Only'', it was 300 years after Jesus that the concept of the trinity was introduced, and that is where christinaity differs from both judaism and islam.
the points of difference between islam and judaism (although they believe God is One) are the attributes and traits of God, in judaism they believe God has some common features with humans that He created, like the way He looks like, some of His activities, like He rests, ...etc
where in islam, they believe that God isnt part of His creation nor that He looks like any of His creation, He doesnt need to rest,..etc
also, its a good opportunity to mention that the three religions have the same name of God, in judaism He is called Elohim, in christinaity He is Yehew, and in islam He is Allah, for those who dont know, all are the same name, different languages!!
like david in english, dawood in arabic
john in english, yehia in arabic, joseph= youssef, jesus= eissa
jacob= ya'akoub...etc

In relation to Christianity, Islam is obviously different in many important areas. Islam is monotheistic as Christianity is, but Islam rejects the concept of the Trinity. Islam accepts certain portions of the Bible, such as the Law and the Gospels, but rejects the majority of it as slanderous and uninspired. Islam believes that Jesus was a prophet of God created just as Adam was--from the dust of the earth—though born of a virgin, but was not actually crucified, nor does Islam believe that Jesus is God (only Allah is God). Islam teaches that the Qur'an is the final authority of Allah, and is the last revelation from Allah given to man. Although the Qur'an is the main holy book, the sunnah is considered the second source of religious instruction for Muslims. The sunnah was written by Muhammad's companions of what Muhammad said, did, or approved of. And lastly, for this list at least, Islam believes that Paradise is gained through good works and obedience to the Qur'an.
There are five main forms or sects of Judaism in the world today. They are Orthodox, Conservative, Reformed, Reconstructionist and Humanistic. The beliefs and requirements in each group differ dramatically; however, a short list of the traditional beliefs of Judaism would include the following:
God is the creator of all that exists; He is one, incorporeal (without a body), and He alone is to be worshipped as absolute ruler of the universe.
The first five books of the Hebrew Bible were revealed to Moses by God. It will not be changed or augmented in the future.
God has communicated to the Jewish people through prophets.
God monitors the activities of humans; He rewards individuals for good deeds and punishes evil.
Although Christians base much of their faith on the same Hebrew Scriptures as Jews, there are major differences in belief: Jews generally consider actions and behavior to be of primary importance; beliefs come out of actions. This conflicts with conservative Christians for whom belief is of primary importance and actions tend to be secondary.
Jewish belief does not accept the Christian concept of original sin (the belief that all people have inherited Adam and Eve's sin when they disobeyed God's instructions in the Garden of Eden).
Judaism affirms the inherent goodness of the world and its people as creations of God.
Jewish believers are able to sanctify their lives and draw closer to God by fulfilling mitzvoth (divine commandments).
No savior is needed or is available as an intermediary.
Beliefs about Jesus vary considerably. Some view him as a great moral teacher. Others see him as a false prophet or as an idol of Christianity. Some sects of Judaism will not even say his name due to the prohibition against saying an idol's name.
The Jews are often referred to as God's chosen people. This does not mean that they are in any way to be considered superior to other groups. Biblical verses such as Exodus 19:5 simply imply that God has selected Israel to receive and study the Torah, to worship God only, to rest on the Sabbath, and to celebrate the festivals. Jews were not chosen to be better than others; they were simply selected to receive more difficult responsibilities, and more onerous punishment if they fail.
The 613 commandments found in Leviticus and other books regulate all aspects of Jewish life.
The Ten commandments, as delineated in Exodus 20:1-17 and Deuteronomy 5:6-21, form a brief synopsis of the Law.
The Messiah (anointed one of God) will arrive in the future and gather Jews once more into the land of Israel. There will be a general resurrection of the dead at that time. The Jerusalem Temple, destroyed in 70 CE, will be rebuilt.

Judaism: descendents of Abraham through his and Sarah's son, Isaac.
Islam: descendents from Abraham through him and Sarah's maid, Hagar (their son was Ishmael) when Sarah was feeling the difficult emotional pain of being barren.
Judaism AND Islam -- deny the divinity of Jesus and believe Christians to be "guilty" of worshipping 3 separate gods...polytheism.
Muslims do not use/read the OT but recognize plenty of its characters: Moses, Abraham, most of the major prophets.
Muslims believe that it is Jesus who will come at the end of time to judge the living and the dead.
While Muslims do not believe in the Divinity of Jesus, they DO believe in the virgin birth of Jesus and they greatly -- very greatly revere his mother, Mary. They especially honor her under the title of Our Lady of Fatima (feast day, October 13)and they celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception on Dec. 8th.
Fatima and Islam
"It is no secret that the September Eleventh attacks were carried out by Islamic fundamentalists. These young Muslims had warped their religion into a justification for mass murder. Even in the midst of such a horrendous tragedy, Our Lady's plan for mankind is shining through.
Far back in history, the Muslims once occupied Portugal. The village of Fatima was given the Islamic name of well-loved Princess Fatima who lived in a nearby castle. Princess Fatima died at an early age, just after converting to Catholicism. Like most Muslim-born girls, this princess had been named after the beloved daughter of Islam's founder. Mohammed once said of his daughter, "Fatima is the most blessed woman in heaven after the Virgin Mary."
In fact, the Blessed Virgin Mary is mentioned more than thirty times in the Koran. Muslims believe in Mary's Immaculate Conception and the Virgin Birth of Christ. In the Koran, when Mary is born, her mother says: "And I consecrate her with all of her posterity under Thy protection, O Lord, against Satan!" Angels are pictured as accompanying the Blessed Mother and saying: "Oh Mary, God has chosen you and purified you, and elected you above all the women of the earth."
Nearly half a century ago, Bishop Fulton J. Sheen wrote the following. "I believe that the Blessed Virgin chose to be known as Our Lady of Fatima as a pledge and a sign of hope to the Moslem people, and as an assurance that they, who show her so much respect, will one day accept her divine Son, too. Mary is the portal for Moslems to accept Christ."
