They are not afraid of secularism, they just intend to own it. The Fundamentalist Churches believe they have enough wealth and voting power to take over the USA political system and make the States into a theocracy.

Secularism has no other moral compass rather than the beliefs of its government. So religion feeds heavily into secularism anyway. As to your question, a spirit of fear is not taught in Christianity. If Christians are in fear they should contemplate.
