I've heard once that if a person were to have to eat one food and one food only, that person would survive longer on apples than on any other food.

This isn't smart at all.
There is no one specific food that will give you all the vitamins and minerals you need. That's why there are so many foods out there. You are gonna need to take a daily vitamin and eat a little bit of everything. Fruits, veggies, some carbs here and there..
I know you don't want preaching, but I am constantly hearing about stupid diets that people go on to lose weight. First of all, if you want to lose weight you need to eat. You can lose weight by not eating, but it will happen slower and less effectively. Your body takes the energy from the food you eat to help you lose weight and/or build muscle.
Even if you don't wanna eat much.. just trying eating a little more than what you are saying here..
Maybe in the morning [vitamin always comes first] some yogurt. Then lunch some celery sticks or carrots. Then dinner try a piece of meat such as steak.. or maybe some macaroni and cheese..
Hope this helped..

Hello there Mr.T! The diet that you plan on going on is bad for your body and it will only slow your metabolism down to protect it self from starvation. You must do it the correct way.Start a healthy low fat low sugar diet.Stay away from fried foods and fatty snacks just as cookies chips & ice cream.eat 4-5 smaller meals a day instead of 3 large ones.Do lots of cardio (at least 3-5 times a week) It is so nice outside now get some comfortable clothes on and go power walking through a park walking path or even a cemetary. Also start some weight training and you will be on the correct path of losing weight and becoming healthy.Good Luck and God Bless.

You are very stupid!! You need a variety of foods that have or contain both protein and carbohydrate. If I was to choose one I would choose a meal replacement shake or bar that has about 15grams of protein and 25 to 30 grams of carbohydrate. You need protein to maintain muscle mass and carbohydrate to provide glycogen for muscle function-your heart is a muscle and needs glycogen as well. Improper diet will also lead to poor cognitive functioning, which may already be occuring in your case. I do not recommend this course of action.

potatos. they are the most nutritional single food. they're also filling, low in calories, and have no fat in them.
buy vitamins or something. those will help on ur diet.
just be prepared when your nails begin to break, ur hair gets all icky, hair starts to grow all over ur body making you look half man, get shrunken bones, mineral loss, low body temperature, irregular heartbeat, and permanent failure of normal growth! you WILL destroy your body. there is no way a single food can prevent this; even with vitamins.

Erm, one simple fact you're overlooking here: if you starve yourself as you're claiming, your body will go into starvation mode, where a huge percentage of fat in whatever you eat will be stored as reserves. Your metabolism has to increase if you seriously want to lose weight. Start with the basic 3 meal a day plan, eat healthy stuff like veggies, whole grains & simple protein like fish & eggs. Also start a basic exercise program to get your body used to burning calories more quickly & efficiently.

Having been the fellow responsible for procuring and making waiting nutrients for my kinfolk for the previous 15 years, I even might want to disagree together with your statement that healthful nutrition is more low priced than junk nutrition. organic, healthful meals are almost a luxurious merchandise, they consistently carry the heftiest fee. clean meals, entire grains, and lean meats are 3 or 4 circumstances more effective extreme priced than their customary, a lot less healthful opposite numbers. And, having lived in diverse states, this isn't only a community style in pricing. the most inexpensive nutrition products which will be bought are laden with fat, sugar, and carbohydrates. Muffin mixes, white pastas, tacky powdered concoctions, fried meals, processed blended meats, rices and potatoes, sugary snacks, chips, etc. i have considered no information to point than a pound of high quality nutrition is more low priced than a pound of junk. pass to a community nutrition economic organization and spot what they offer to the needy. it really isn't any longer high quality nutrition, it really is a tremendous form of starches and processed junk - because pound for pound, it really is less extreme priced and is going plenty further.

potatoes. they come from the ground and have many vitamins + starch for energy.. They can be cooked many ways. If you choose to add things to them, you have a wide selection of things like butter, sour cream, chives, onions, or if you just eat them raw or steamed or baked , you still can survive on them for a long time. Also they are cheap if you buy in ten# lots. I don't recomend buying large quantities because the price fluctuates and it is better to have them fresh.

i wouldn't do it, but since you're asking: oatmeal. slow digesting carbs and good protein content.
you can take a supplement for the vitamins and minerals.
