Ok im buying a straightener but i need to know a good one within a 25$ price range. Nothing more than that. I have pretty curley hair. So I need a straightener that wont leave waves in my hair when im done. Once again 25$ is the limit. It should also be a nice one that wont break or anything right away and it will last me for a while. Also any seirum or something that will help it straighten without waves or frizz. Im trying to save my money so if these thing could pretty inexpensive all together that would be appreciated. Thank you.

get a straightener with a Turbo setting. It is very effective and those straighteners are pretty cheap. Also make sure it is a ceramic straightener.

If your hair is pretty curly, a cheap hair straightener is not going to do the trick, sad to say. You need a ceramic straightener with floating plates (I love my Chi, but it was also $120 with a lifetime guarantee). Watch out for straighteners that do not have the floating plates, with the beveled edges. If they do not have those qualities, they will most likely leave lines in your hair. I recommend looking on eBay for a used straightener or an out of style one.
A cheaper alternative would be using a roundbrush and hairdryer. As long as you choose the best roundbrush for your hair type and length (I would recommend the plastic bristles), you can dry your hair straight. You could visit a salon or beauty supply store and have a salesperson help you choose the best product.

i agree with allstar-CHI ceramic irons are the best-but....if you're on a fixed budget, have a stylist get you a Cricket brand "Straight Crazy X2" ceramic flat iron at a Barnum's Beauty or Maly's Beauty supply store-these supply stores are for professionals only so unfortunately you'll have to have someone with a professional license snag you one but they're about $39-get the one with the black ceramic plates-it also has a temperature dial and if your hair is fine to medium texture I wouldn't set it above 180 degrees!!!!! I'm a stylist and at the salon I have a CHI iron to use on my clients but since they're so pricey I use the Cricket brand at home on my hair-just remember to constantly keep that iron moving throughout each section of your hair don't' hold it in any one place for very long otherwise you'll burn your hair-you can also try a round brush with a ceramic barrel-CHI makes an excellent round brush-the barrel is beige in color with red end caps and the handle is grey-you could probably find these at the "industry source" online or Ulta stores-please, please, please use some type of heat protectant on your hair-I use Redken's "Spray Starch Heat Memory Spray"-I've seen so many people burn their hair w/out using a heat protectant ! Hope this helps!!!!

You won't find a good one that last a long time for $25. You might as well spend a little more and in the long run it will save you money. Do you have a Beauty supply near you, like Sally's? They have pretty good prices.

u should find one within that range at walmart or target. but if you want one that will last longer and straighten better and will be better for your hair, go to sally's beauty supply or ulta3 and get a genereric value product ceramic iron (chi knockoff). it is actually referred to as GVP, and i have one that works great, and i am african american with shoulder length hair by the way, and also use it when i have my 14-18" hair extensions. so if it works for me, it will work for you!!

go to target and get a 1 inch ceramic flat iron so that way you can get closer to your roots...i have a Revlon one and it does a good job straightening my wavy hair...its about $24 i think...you should try frizz-ease serum or garnier`s [ spelling?] sleek and shine hair serum [ its a lil round green clear bottle] thats what i use and they work very well

The CHI iron is the ideal. it truly is around $150, even though it truly is well worth it. I even have curly hair too and it gets it board on the instant and that i take advantage of it only approximately daily and my hair is in great condition.

You definately need to get a ceramic straightener, and use John Freida's straightening products with it, they work really well.
I've used this straightener in the past and it worked great for my hair!
