Well its a hard question to answer.

NO windows vista does not crash computers.

The programs installed onto windows vista crash the computer.

vista has not been out that long and there are way too many bugs to be worked out. There are also very few programs that have been re-written to work with vista, so until the bugs get worked out and more programs are available for JUST vista, I'll stick with Windows XP
