There are some tablets that you can get from the health food shop that have calcium, magnesium and vitamin D in them; they'll speed things up a bit. Broken bones take six weeks to mend, no more no less. The tablets will help secure a good mend though, but stop taking them when the bone is healed. Prolonged high vitamin D consumption, I'm talking about months or even years, can cause serious problems in later life.
Or if you'd rather take the natural route; magnesium is in pineapple juice, calcium is in fresh vegetables and vitamin D is made by your body, unless you cover it with sun protection of any kind. In which case you can get it from; fish liver oils, sardines, herring, salmon, tuna, milk and other dairy products.
Most of all REST!! If one of the breaks is moved you could easily have a punctured lung to put up with. Read a book.

Like most broken bones, broken ribs take time to heal. Here's a bit of advice for you: don't laugh alot. Lauging too hard with broken ribs will hurt. I've never had broken ribs but I've read about it. Oh yea and take the other advice listed above. Good luck.

Phil,
Healing for ribs is like for any other broken bone in the body. You need to rest it and protect it from re-injury. You should also increase your intake of calcium by supplement or injestion to optimize your bone healing. Most bones heal adequately in 6-8 weeks. I would recommend that you still protect your ribs for another 2 months after the 6-8 week period. Try to avoid contact sports and if playing contact sports buy some of the new undershirts that contain pads. Mueller padded shirts like DWade wears are helpful. I hope this helps.

it's going to take time to heal. The pain from broken ribs is one of the worst because your muscles have to constantly move for you to breathe. I know you've seen a medical doctor, you need to talk to the doctor about what can be done to help you deal with the pain. You may need stronger medication.

Now everyone can cure infertility using this natural remedy http://pregnancyhelps.info
infertility can run in the family and one of the first things the doctor asks you when you go to a fertility clinic is your family history regarding cases of infertility or other reproductive issues.
If infertility is caused by genetic disorder then it's not unusual that one of the kids (your mom) doesn't have it and another does (your aunt).
two months of trying is still to early to be concerned about the fact that you might be infertile and it's also quite early to go to a fertility specialist. Go to a regular Obgyb to get a closer insight and see what ways there are are to improve your fertility rate.
Also remove alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes from your life because they might influence your chances too. Stress is also a risk factor when it comes to infertility.

Once infertility has been diagnosed, there are a number of treatment options available depending on the root cause of the problem. Learn here https://tr.im/GHvhr
Infertility is a condition defined as not being able to become pregnant after at least one year of unprotected, regular, well-timed intercourse. Women who suffer from multiple miscarriages may also be diagnosed as infertile. Infertility may be classified into two groups, primary and secondary infertility.

I think you need an open surgery to repair the broken ribs. If you don't do that, it will heal but it will be a deformed healing.Would you risk that?
