That's the first time I've ever heard that. I've seen several non-religious people ask for proof on everything from religion to man walking on the moon.
As for the "dogma" question. It isn't necessary to require proof for something that already exists.

Every one who goes to church will think they have the right religion, with over 3,000 different religions and all teach a different thing, who is right? Religion has confused alot of people with coming up with man made doctrines.
