I am getting tired of hearing people say that ALL Christians are this..ALL are that...we truly are individuals and we have our own thoughts and feelings.
one assumption I am tired of hearing as well is that we all only do moral things because we fear God, or to get closer to Heaven...also in many cases not true. I do things because i think they are right, not to get a reward.
I'm also tired of some statements about how Christians always "push" their views....well yes they express them, (and i concede that some are a little pushy about it) but in here there are constantly people "pushing" their views...like How God doesn't exist, or how how people who believe in God are dumb..how is this any different?

illyria: Like i said we are all different, and my views differ drastically from Catholics. I detest the attrocitis committed by those priests, and would not for a second defend them.
In my opinion that are obviously NOT doing the will of God.

I'm sorry if it seemed like I was being whinny, I was just saying what I get tired of hearing on here, and giving others a chance to state what they get tired of hearing. Maybe someone will read them and think before they ask one of the millions of questions that have already been asked.

"Why are so many atheists on the religion and spirituality section?"
"Prove there is no God"
"Where are the transitional fossils?"
"Atheists - what if you are wrong?"
and so on

I will admit to being guilty of this. I think the people who ARE pushy are heard the loudest and the longest and give others a bad name. I won't lie, Christians in general frighten me. Thier beliefs worry me. BUT that being said, some of the nicest people I know are Christian. The problem is there aren't nearly as many TRUE christians out there as there are hypocrites. It gives the rest of you a bad name.
What I am tired of hearing here is "If there is a God then why does x,yz happen?" Stop using God as a scapegoat! We made the earth what it is, no one else. If you don't like it, change it.

The Catholic bashing is tiresome, and I'm not even Catholic. That extends, of course, to the bashing of anyone's beliefs. On the Christian side, I'm so tired of statements like "________ aren't Christian" (fill in the blank with Catholics, United Pentecostals, Episcopalians, LDS, Unitarians, or any other group). For non-Christians, the bashing of Muslims, Jews, Pagans and everyone else is equally lamentable.

I'm tired of the divisiveness. I wish there could be more of a spirit of the human community. I wish there could be answers suggesting how we are more alike than different, and how much people usually like each other when they get to know and understand each other, even when they don't practice the same traditions or share all the same beliefs.
Let's look to how much we share! Without generalizing too much, don't we generally love our children and good food and beautiful sunsets and warm breezes and rainbows, and falling in love and being happy? Don't we generally love the world we share? Don't we like to be praised and appreciated? Can we focus on some of those things and realize we are all people?
That's what I wish we could see more of here. My hand is extended in friendship!
Brightest Blessings!

same. I'm also tired of people saying that Christians have no reason for why they do certain things or that God is (insert rude term here) for whatever misguided reasoning. I'm also kinda getting tired of so many people saying that all religions are correct and that you're stupid if you don't believe that. that defies logic and good sense. I'm also tired of explaining certain things like how "God isn't prejudicial/a discriminator", the Trinity concept, and why bad things happen.

Then if that is true, why don't you answer the tough questions, such as priests molesting altar boys, it seems like no matter how many times this question is asked you all herd together and form a heated line of defense. I don't call that being an individual.

Maybe its the way our Media generalizes so much when it talks about OTHER people and other Faiths ?
Look how they put all of Islam on trial for the actions of a handful of its followers.
What comes around goes around.
Those blacks and mexicans who promote hate for Muslims will see that it will overflow into their communities.
Generalizations by any group will eventually suffer the bad effects of those actions.

I'm tired of hearing hateful messages towards one another and hearing presumptious remarks about a religion that prove to be false. I'm tired of people's ignorance to the truth.

Put on an Atheist mask for a week and get a sense of what we're tired of hearing. Then you'll see that your problems aren't nearly as bad as you think.

I don't like the whole, "You don't believe in God, you must be saved!" or "You will go to hell if you don't believe in God!" That gets old really fast. And I'm sure me complaining about this will get old fast too. I'm not saying that all Christians are this way, but the ones that are just really irritate me. You believe in god, but I don't judge you, will you judge me because I don't?

Well...in the LGBT section I'm tired of people saying things like "I looked at another man today...am I gay?!" HOW are we supposed to decipher another person's sexuality? It's beyond a joke.
AND people who can't construct sentences properly! e.g. Why are lesbians existed in da world today?
