With sex being everywhere today, and most couples doing it before marriage, is it ok to sleep with someone u love and still be a loyal christian? I hear about christians doing it a lot more now, but does it mean ill go to hell if i do?

The world's standards may have changed, but God's standards have not. Fornication (sleeping with someone you're not married to) is still fornication, and this is what the Bible has to say about it:

1Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

So no, sleeping with someone you're not married to is wrong, and it can cost a person Heaven if they don't repent of their sin.

Your fate is not decided by one particular act, but rather by your lifestyle and attitude. What does it mean to be a loyal Christian?

Life is a search for truth, which involves being the best person you can be. Why do you want to sleep with someone to whom you're not married? Is it a lack of self-control? If so, it would be good to learn some discipline. Is there a reason why you can't get married? That reason should affect your decision.

Once you start making decisions based on what "most" people are doing, you lose. Make your decision between you and God, not based on your friends, TV, or nameless, faceless people online.

There's a lot more to love than just sex. If you can't love without sex before marriage, it's not love. Pre-marital sex is forbidden by God. Read your Bible. The "Christians" that do it today, you need to question their Christianity. Going to hell is between you & God...no human can tell you where you are going. If you do & repent, God expects you to refrain from doing it again. If you continue doing it, I would question your Christianity. Read your Bible.

Hell or heaven should not be the deciding factor.Love does not mean surrendering yourself.There is an accepted practice.Your conscience and propriety should be the deciding factor.
You cannot be a true christian if you sleep with someone before marriage.

It happens all over the place to with many of people we all know. In my family I think except for mom and dad we all did it, my husband and I lived together for 6 months before we got married, we had our oldest child was 6 months old when we did get married..Yes it is a sin, and I sure have no place to put anyone else down for doing the same thing I did, what you need to do is make it right with God, thats the most important thing.

I say if you are truly in love then why rush. Be a true christian and wait. By the way foreplay is considered sex in the Bible. Once you have sex with someone you will be considered married. Do some investigating and reading in the Bible to find out more. BEST OF LUCK!!!

You won't go to hell for it, as long as you're a Christian. But a sin is still a sin, no matter how many people do it. It's not ok. Doing something that's wrong just because you know you're not going to hell for it is not good. It makes God unhappy. You should wait until you're married. It'll be worth waiting and it'll make God happy.

Well, you won't go to Hell if you are repentant of your sin, but premeditated sin is worse. It is up to God to judge you, not me. I would say though that you should wait because if you don't then you will regret it. There is nothing sweeter then making love for the first time on your wedding night. Just because other people are doing it doesn't mean that you should. Good luck and don't forget to pray about these things also!

sex is forbidden just for the christianity, not for any god... cmon you can have sex with responsability, there are other important thinks to concern besides the pope, like HIV.

Sex is natural, a special gift, you wont go to hell by having sex.

Christianty need to recognize soon that big mistake like already recognized: burns witches, deny evolution, dinos were devil's temptation and many others.

The act of marriage (sex) is a God-given gift, and the gift is to be honored between husband and wife. The only thing that defiles the act of marriage is lust of the flesh, emotional and physical adultery:

"Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge." - Heb 13:4 KJV

Our world encourages the defilement of intimate relations exclusively between husband and wife. Just look all around you and you will find the temptations of our flesh in TV and magazine ads.

The only way to truly be within God's Law is protect and keep the sanctity of sex with your wife only.
