"Sombra" is shadow and shade in English. Example: Your shadow looks funny in the steps.="Tu sombra luce cómica en los escalones. I'm gonna stick on you like your shadow.="Estaré tan cerca de ti como tu sombra." I want to seat under the palm trees shade.= "Me quiero sentar bajo la sombra de las palmeras."

Correct Spanish: Te voy a ser una sombra a ti.

Meaning: I´m going to be your shadow. (pretty literal)
Meaning: I´m going to stick to you like glue. (pretty figurative)
