ok so we're both 15 and go to the same school. We met at my best friends party and got off great.I didnt even know he was morman [or lds] until just now when she told me. So i looked up the standards for an lds kid and it also said cussing was not allowed. im pretty sure his language at the party wasnt exactly immaculate so when i read that things like making out and dating arent allowed i was pretty confused. is he like a normal teen who does things like that or not? all i know is that i like him, a lot. and im agnostic, if that has to do with anything.
[my question is will we get in trouble for making out and things]

hey I'm Mormon and I make out and cuss, and what you read about it isn't all true. Don't worry about it he should be no different than the other guys. trust me I have a boyfriend that's also Mormon and you wouldn't believe him if he told you so.

I have so many morman friends and some of them take it more seriously then others. Also a lot of mormans feel ashamed that they cant' do some stuff like cussing or dating. I dont' think you will get in trouble for it. If he decides to cuss or make out with you then that's his choice.

I was once a teenager too, and sometimes it's really hard to be a teenager (as you know) and although his actions don't emulate his religious standards right now, doesn't mean he isn't religious. Everyone here has to know and understand there is a lot of pressure being a teenager and to do/say things other teens do. Ultimately it's between him and God what choices he makes. If he truely believes in his religion, he'll appreciate you more if you respect those standards.

Best way to figure it out is to ask him, honey. He's the one that knows his own beliefs and how strict his parents are, how willing and able any siblings of his are when it comes to leaking information to get him in trouble, etc. If he's interested in you like you are in him... there shouldn't be much of an issue with a lil discussion of faith.

All teenage boys (and girls) like to make out and most do get in trouble when parents find out. Mormon or not he is just like any other boy in your class, he probably is not allowed to hook up with girls but I'm sure he is dieing to do it anyway.

his religion strictly forbids you and all others like you. whether he decided to listen to that is his prerogative. maybe he doesn't want to be Mormon. his behavior is certainly that of a person who doesn't want to be one. if he is serious about lds he would stay far away from you. consider that. just a little info for you .

uhhhhhhh good luck most morman shouldnt date untill they are 16 and if he is not keeping with his faith then you cant be positive he will stay with you

There are plenty of Jewish guys with tattoos, and there are plenty Catholics who eat meat on Fridays.
