not necessarily i dont think....one of my best friends dated a 20 yr old n shes gonna be 16....shes still dating that guy.....she kept telling me that she wants to keep the relationship b/n her n her guy a secret but her parents were worried about why she acted so weird around them. Sooner or later she had to tell her parents, n thank god she chose to tell them sooner. She feared that her parents would have kicked her outta the house & yelled at her, but they only got pissed off and yelled at her. Sure as hell they were mad, at least my best friend told her parents the truth rather than hide the truth....since then her parents are totally ok w/ this whole thing and they trust her n her guy....hes like a body guard to her n protects her but mainly he loves her!! so my main point here is that you won't get in trouble if you tell the parents the truth about this....sure they're gonna be pissed n if things get outta hand such as being kicked outta the house, make sure someone else is there so that they can defend the person from being kicked out....otherwise, like i said, theyre gonna be mad but if u tell him rather than hide it from them, you wont get in trouble....since u said that its not you, well whoever it is that you know who's in a relationship w/ a 22 yr old, advise them about this....otherwise trouble ahead!

If her parents object, the 22 yr old can be charged with statutory rape, if the couple had sex. If they're dating without permission, the charge is contributing to the delinquency of a minor. I would suggest not risking either thing.
