Here is a link to find the closest White House/Black Market store near you. There are a bunch here in So. Cal. The link that CBT Princess gave you is a really cute dress!

Nordstrom's has some really cute dresses, too, and their prices are pretty reasonable. Several on their web are under $200.
You can even check out David's Bridal, they often have dresses for sale for $99.
I also like Castle for Brides, they have some reasonable dresses as well. Here is their location:

I would say boutiques in downtown L.A. would be your best bet. Maybe they have some lovely white baby doll dresses that can be worn as a wedding dress. Another idea is to go to a wedding retailer establishment and see if they have that kind of style. Try dessy.com. I know you don't want to buy online, but they have the most beautiful informal and different style dresses you will ever see. Try Nordstroms.com, or buyinamerica.com.

Go to the fashion district in Downtown Los Angeles. If you take the 10 west get off on San Pedro then go down until you reach Olympic (I think) near the "Callejones" or the alleys and the fabric stores. They have all kinds of dresses really cheap. And there you will find everything else you need for your wedding from favors to bridesmaid dresses to shoes to accesories to bouquets to everything else. here's map of where its at.

I found my wedding dress on the clearance rack. It was the last season's display dress and I got it for 100 dollars!!! I would just look in the yellow pgs and start going. Ask what they have as far as styles and if they have a clearance rack...if they are snobby, leave! I tried to deal with snobby sales people, and boy did it pi$$ me off!!

anyway... are you anywhere near the Lakewood Mall? There's a new store in there called Anny Lee - they're like Group USA but cheaper. (Besides there's an Alfred Angelo, Windsor & great shoe stores there) They don't have a website & they're new - but call the mall people & see if they can hook you up! here's the Mall link - http://www.shoplakewoodcenter.com/directory.asp?list=stores

i imagine it really is amazingly extremely. merely because it really is marketed as a promenade/pagent gown would not propose it really is the in hassle-free words time it ought to correctly be worn. I wore a lengthy white gown of the rack and so did 2 of my sisters. We saved a tremendous form of money what became more effective spent on different issues.
