Having just been called an "atheist troll" in another thread for asking about the scriptures that foretell the end of the world and those that foretell it never passing away, I have to ask... Are YOU the one who has the truth locked down? Are you extempt from logical evaluation? Are you entitled to condemn those who disagree? Seems like I've met you before... except that the other guy said something different than you did. How do you figure THAT?

You are not a Troll! How Christian is that?
I am not sure what I missed, but I think I support what you are saying and have experienced the same thing when I asked what ecumenism was? No one knows the truth, I would love to meet the person who does. Spirituality is suppose to make a person whole and complete, no mater what the belief. I was raised roman catholic and it is not a good thing to question them or to ask anything about the book or revelations. I remember asking the nun who taught religion class at my catholic school about the end of the world, exorcism and about some of the strange things in the book of revelation and she was not happy. Oh and reincarnation is a big no-no. She told me it was a sin to talk about exorcisms and we do not believe what is in the book of revelations. I got so many mixed ideas while I was catholic that I had no idea what end was up. I was afraid of god and had feelings of guilt all the time. To me that was not my path. I believe what I want to believe, what ever gets me through this life and on to the next. The only thing I took from that practice is "do unto others as you would have them do unto you". I do not mean to offend anyone, and if I have I am sorry it was not my intention. I have full respect for others and their beliefs because who am I to judge.

The truth I am holding is only based on the limited knowledge that I have. I know that someone out there has the truth that may or may not differ from mine which can be great. So my truth is not yet locked down; for even you hold some truth that is different from many and it is not necessarily wrong or right. No one is entitled to condemn anyone who disagree for even the dull and the ignorant have their own story to tell.
The only difference that I am probably made of is that the world is for all who cares about life and whose love does not make distinctions or differentiations.

Truth is fluid - it to a certain extent it greatly depends upon perception (except universal truths we all share like murder is wrong etc). I do not have all the answers nor would I ever expect to in my lifetime, that is what life is for - the gaining of knowledge - and when it ends for us much is still unanswered. I only condemn those that have taken the time to disrespect me by condemning me for my agnosticism first. I have friends from a wide array of beliefs and I am married to a christian.

Since God is an infinite being than that would mean that the truth would also be an infinite truth. How could anyone know the complete truth? Many will attempt to tell you they know the truth but in reality those who think they know the whole truth are fooling themselves.

Of course not. My "brand of theology" is the truth for me, and for others who believe as we do, but it's not for everyone. I believe that G-d created humanity with infinite diversity of cultures, styles, and tastes, so why would there be only ONE way to worship? That just makes no sense (to me).

trolling is the best thing one can do if ya had a bad day !
those who call you a troll usually lack some imagination and or intelligence to come up with an actual responce to what has been asked!

Mine is only for me. It's not for anyone else.

I don't think there is any reason to condemn those who disagree.
