In Christianity, you are born guilty of a crime you didn't commit, and the price of "justice" is paid by someone who is innocent. This brand of ethical thinking would not hold up in ANY court of law. I think people are responsible for their own actions.

You don't find the same faulty logic in Judaism or Islam, I believe.

the same way genetics makes sense. It's kind of like a genetic thing with the spirit though.

Here's logic for you:

Death is the penalty for sin.

One who is without sin IS NOT liable to die, yet ALL humans die, hence all are affected by sin.

This is the nature of original sin. It is a fact.

it seems to me more of a control mechanism; people are easier to keep in line if they think of themselves as guilty, and only your "product" holds the "cure."
