But nobody ever says exactly what?Everything is so so vague!God is all around, god is in everything simpy is not a satisfactory explanation. Also 'I prayed for someone to get better and tehy did' isn't either. Can anyone actually elaborate on an experience with god or are going to carry on with this pretence that he exists still as there is still no evidence whatsoever??

For believers in a higher power no evidence is necessary and for non-believers no evidence would ever be enough.

What "evidence" are you looking for? What kind of proof do you need? Its like you are in a standoff...you are asking God for proof/evidence before you will believe and he is waiting for your faith and belief in him so that your eyes will be open to appreciate and fully understand all that can be experienced through and with him.

How about Fatima Portugal where 70,000 people witnessed the miracle of the sun?

On a rainy day the sun came hurling down out of the sky and people were screaming thinking that it was the end of the world and the Blessed Mother put up her hand and it went back up into the sky and all of a sudden everyone was completely dry. Look it up. It happened just in the early part of this century

Jesus said that even if they saw a man raised from the dead, they would not believe. This controversy is older than we are, and started in Heaven (Rev 12), when Lucifer rebelled. God is not in everything, but is in control. He has to allow Satan to thoroughly manifest his claims that his ways are better than his Maker's, that is why this world is getting worse. We can give God the glory by showing that we can live godly in a corrupt world, showing that God's claims are not unjust. This controversy is soon to come to an end, after Satan is allowed full control over all who deny "the way, the truth, and the life".

I do believe in God. Why? I don't know. My first lesson about God was given to me by my mother as is the case with I think everyone. I was told to pray to the higher power and my wishes would be granted. When I was in 3rd standard (about 7/8 years old), I asked God to give me !st rank in my class as I was really impressed with all the rank holders going up to the headmaster to get their report cards. Lo and Behold, my name was called out and I too got the report card from the headmaster in front of whole school. Now, I was too young to understand my worth and gave all the credit to God and till date I give full credit to HIM for all happiness that I get in life.......

Ha no evidence, maybe if through your indoctrinated eyes there is no evidence, but look at Padre Pio, Fatima, Lourdes, San Ganrabaldi, Miklos Halmos, the Huckdon trials and such. Then you can look at nature.

Because everybody is different and what constitutes as a miracle or "God" is different in everybody. Also most "feelings" are contributed to god but are just that. People who talk in tongues may get the same feeling as people who meditate. It's all in the mind.

God must be taken on faith, but we can see little glimpses of his work in our lives. The morning after my grandfather died my mother saw a butterfly flying around her window, and since then, every time one of us has been particularly sad about his passing, we've seen a butterfly. Also, my first weekend at college, I had absolutely no idea where I was going to go to church on Sunday. I had almost decided that I just wasn't going to go when my mom told me she had been praying about it. At that point I believed that I would find a place to go. Saturday night I was hanging out with a fairly unlikely group of people (most of whom I've never spent time with again) and on the way back one of the girls said that I could stay up as late that night as I wanted unless I wanted to go to church in the morning. I took courage and told her that I did want to go to church but I didn't know where. She proceeded to tell me that I could go to church with her if I liked, and that church ended up being the church I have attended ever since. These things aren't meant to convince you of the existence of God, He wants you to discover that for yourself. But they do serve as reminders to me about how much He cares for me.

Edit: If you attribute everything to coincidence, you'll obviously never find any evidence of God. But it's like I said: if you're not open to finding God, then you're not going to see Him in the things that stand out to those of us who believe in Him.
