Don't both men and women do this all of the time? People flirt just to get attention. Maybe he took it too far.

THAT HAPPENS TO ME ALL THE TIME! I hate it so much and its so hard finding a real guy because half of them are immature attention seekers, and then its harder to trust anyone else after you experience that. I hope its not happening to you. good luck
