1995 Lincoln town car garage opener?????

I just bought this car and have the owners manual but it doesnt say how to program the built in garage openers. Please help.

On the back of your garage door opener there should be a little button usually purple colored that you need to press to put the opener in learning (program) mode. Press that button a small LED light should start flashing, go back to your car and press down one of the garage door buttons in the car until the light on the garage door button goes out in the car, and the lights on the garage door opener will flash several times letting you know that the opener has programmed the new remote.
