wtf do you *think* you should talk about?? obviously your date is intelligent...but maybe they just like to laugh about stupid things too. just talk to your date as though it was any other date.

I dated several doctors (MD's) when I worked in hospitals. Let me tell you, they were pretty normal, and they liked me because I laugh a lot and have a quirky sense of humor. They could also see that I was trustworthy, and they all let loose in front of me (Imagine having a rigid-surgeon-by-day doing a private chicken dance for you by night!) Honestly, we're all looking for people we can be ourselves with. Just be yourself and you'll be fine! Don't forget to have fun!
