You're probably getting too much sleep. Sleep cycles happen in blocks of 1hr 40mins, you need at least 4 of them to get the bulk on your rest, meaning you need which brings you to about 6.5hrs of sleep.

Keep in mind this means actual sleep, you must add in how long it takes you to fall asleep and when you first hit snooze (or wake up). So you need to lay down earlier, generally 7hrs.

Getting too much sleep is actually as bad for you as too little sleep. 8hrs should be the absolute maximum you get, and it's best to get a regular amount of sleep all the time, don't skimp during the week and "make up for it" on the weekend.

According to your question, you are getting 9-10hrs of sleep. While studies are still rough on the subject, it will unquestionable make you more sluggish and tried during the day and will probably cause you to hold weight longer. Cut back on your sleeping... ever heard the phrase "too much of a good thing..."

If you're making it to work on time, then by
all means, keep up your present pace.
The standard minimum that should be de-
voted to sleep is 8 hours. Some people do
need just a bit more than that--depending
on their personal daily routine.
Personally, my schedule varies somewhat,
from day to day. But I usually call it a night
an hour or two later than you do.
(And, without even a miniature alarm clock
to my name... I will always wake up by 7:30,
at the very latest.)

Best of health & good luck.
