Unlike the Torah/Tanakh/Bible, the Talmud is not standard education material in Jewish or regular secular schools. As such, study of the Talmud is confined to the Religious schools and post-high school seminaries.

what i would think happens is the seculer jews study the torah and some of the talmud in school algoside other subjects but the hredi or religous jews will study it in a lot more detail and for much longer

the talmud is usually studies by the religious jews. some secular jews also study it in university but it's not a must in the school systems or university.

No, of course not. Some people are Muslum and others have no interest in it. I'm sure many, if not most are aware of it, but there are probably people there who don't even know what it is. I suspect there are people who are not religious who study it, though it is a primarily Jewish, cultural and religious document.

Among Israeli Jews, very very few are religious, so very few people study the Talmud.

Most people are starting to read Talmud because it is a subsitute to the torah.And it has supplement reading but not everyone.But it is not only in haredim judaism anymore.
