If the information that is being reported is not yours, you can and should have it removed
If the information is yours but is reported with inaccuracies, you do have the right to dispute it. When you dispute it and it is not corrected within the time required it legally must be removed.
If the information is yours and is being reported with no inaccuracies, there is not much you can do.
As far as paying someone to do it for you - don't. Do it yourself.
Many of those credit repair organizations (CRO's) are underhanded and the FTC and states are working hard in going after them for their sleazy tactics.
You might do some reading in the links I have provided in my profile on here. To the FCRA, etc. Also check out the last link and learn, for free, how to repair your credit yourself.

You can have all those things removed if they were recorded on your credit file by mistake, and doesn't belong to you.
But if they do belong to you, you just wait 12 years AFTER the last negative credit you created, they will all drop off.
If you can't wait that long, (why would you) then you need to start cleaning it up, no way around this.
It's really not that hard to do, and takes ALOT less time than11-12 years.
Good luck.

No you can not.
I quote from the 2007 Edition of the Consumer Action Handbook "Several credit repair companies advertise that they can erase bad credit for a hefty fee. Don't believe them".
Nothing can be removed from your credit report that is not untrue period.

this all depends on where you live and how they keep their records. If it on your ID, Social security number then unless you get a new one you are generally stuffed. However if like in the UK you get bad credit you can move address and after a couple of years your reputation is repaired presuming your creditors don't find you first. Its quite interesting in Spain the debt is also on your address and inherited by the person who buys the property.

There's no such thing as credit repair. They advertise services like this everywhere. No one can legally remove accurate and timely negative information from a credit report.

No. It is impossible.
Anyone who claims to be able to do this is breaking the law. They tell you to use a new address and your tax ID # to set up a new credit account, which is fradulent and you could spend time in jail.

You'll pay them lots of money to write a letter to the credit bureau telling them nothing they don't already know or care about.
--
But don''t just take my word for it. call the better business bureau, or a loan supervisor at a bank and ask them for their opinion.
