Skeptic? Not really. A true skeptic would require proof and thoroughly research the subject. Obviously this person did not.

The skeptic should be paying more attention to things...

The weaving method used to weave the cloth together is not at all like that used in shrouds back in those days... in fact the weaving was done by a method not invented until the middle ages with a particular weaving machine. Just as how the weaving of your clothing is far too advanced for the middle ages, the weaving of the shroud is too advanced for the Jesus era. Plus historians know precisely what type of machine would be needed to make the shroud and when that machine was invented - and it was in the middle ages.

There is a wealth of other evidence against the shroud of course (including chemical composition studies and the like), but it's really a forgery.

"No One Can Explain Shroud of Turin Pictures of Jesus"

Bullshit.

"A French magazine said on Tuesday it had carried out experiments that proved the Shroud of Turin, believed by some Christians to be their religion's holiest relic, was a fake." --http://www.physorg.com/news4652.html
