I have problem with making video..(and windows movie maker)?

Question

I wanted to make amv with Bleach anime, importing one episode took very long time, but ok, problems started when I start to separate diferent moments, Windows movie maker crushed whenever I was separating some moments, why was that so?
And then when I finally somehow separated that moments and add one to storyline, it didn't play, just stop working and that's it, that's so annoying, please help me somebody, I just want to make that amv..:(

In my experience, Windows Movie Maker blows. It could be that I don't have a high end graphics card, but even with a decent Nvidia card, 2 gigs of RAM...I always have terrible results, it always seems to hang leaving me to shut down the app manually.
