Sure thing lets start it now. Oh wait, boycott over, you DO have a choice. If you are buying an OS seperately, then quite obviously you have a choice. If you are buying prebuilt, well then that would be up to the company building the computer wouldn't it, not Microsoft. Dell is offering XP as an option, as are some other companies. So in fact, you DO have a choice.

Why would I? I have Vista running on three computers at home and haven't had any major problems.
If you don't like Vista, you're always free to buy a Mac or install an alternate OS like Linux, Solaris or BSD.

No, I got Vista on a new laptop 2 months ago and haven't had a single problem with it. I can't understand what all the fuss is about it. All the new features are great and only make windows easier to use.
The only problem with Vista is that retards are allowed to use it.
