Food poisoning is almost never instantaneous (those that are are generally chemical toxins like pesticides). Food poisonings, like the kind you'd get from bagged greens (likely culprits in this scenario would be pathogenic E. coli, Salmonella or Listeria), takes about 24 to kick in.

Therefore, judging by your timing, it doesn't sound like the lettuce to me. what'd you eat in the 36 hours prior to the cramping?

If you just have cramping, go easy on what you eat. Stick to a BRAT diet. Rest until it subsides. Only see a doctor if you run a high fever, have more than 3 spells of diarrhea, or vomit repeatedly. If you see a doctor, it is important to give a stool sample so you can identify the source of illness (too many people skip this stem, and they don't get the right treatment).
