As stated by others, you need to get a prescription for ringworm (I had it as a kid). However, it also important that if you have any pets, your daughter doesn't play with them until she is ringworm free, you can pass it on to animals and then you'd have a vet bill as well.

I used to get ringworm when i was younger. It's not really a worm, it is a fungus. anti-fungal cream is part of the solution, also wash her clothes and sheets in very hot water, preferably with some bleach. Do not use anti-biotic cream, as that can make it worse.

you need to get a prescription cream from the doctor, you also need to clean all their clothing and bedding in very hot water to kill the fungus. Otherwise, much like scabies the ringworm fungus will continue to come back again and again.
Oh and bleaching the bathroom they use would be a good idea as well.

Wash all their clothes, bedding pillows they may lay around on - if you can't wash them put them away - in a bag for awhile.
But the quicker you "kill" where it could be the best.
If the cream doesn't help in a week call the MD back.
Try a betadine to cover them with too and some people swear by a fungal cream -

anti-fungal creams like clotrimazole, but you have to be consistent use it 2 times a day for about 1 month. and make sure they dont scratch or rub since it can spread to other parts in the body

The safest thing to use if you can find it is straight iodine. Usually you can find it at most co op places, in the horse area. It might turn the skin orange, but it works. I don't know but maybe walmart or kmart in the pharmacy section too. Don't delute it, just straight.
