Ibuprofen. It doesn't make you drowsy, there is minimal chance for a stomach ache, and it helps a lot with the pain. Start with the highest otc milligram you can find, and after a while switch to a lower dose. Best wishes :)

acetominophen, it's the same stuff as Lorcet, without the narcotic.
