I do! And you know what? It doesn't matter. The body is very resilient and unless you ate a whole cheesecake, I doubt its going to have any affect at all on you. Desserts are ok for your body. That doesn't by any means give you allowance to have 3 pieces of cheesecake everyday, but your body deserves to be treated at least once a week. Your body is not going to gain any weight from one slice of cheesecake....thats ridiculous. And if worse comes to worse and you did gain weight you gained like a tenth of a pound which can go away in a day. But! One thing you should NEVER do is weight yourself right after you eat (especially a big meal) you probably already know this but just as a tip: weigh youself in the morning when your body has been fasting. That is your TRUE body weight. If you jump on the scale right after you eat, of course its going to raise! You could eat 3 lbs of lettuce and your weight would jump 3 lbs higher ON THE SCALE. Its a simple fluctuation from the food you have taken in and it is not concrete weight. So, after all of that, you eating cheesecake was not stupid. Allow yourself to enjoy it!

lol...poor girl, this sounds like me...I starve myself and then to reward myself, eat junk food...unfortunately, this ISN"T what good eating and changing bad eating habits is all about. So,...what you gotta do is this...if you DID have to have some cheesecake,...limit to one piece, and get the sugar free type...or fix yourself some other type of sugar free desert,..I like to get jello and dream whip...but hang in there, you did good and don't let it get out of hand! And it isn't stupid,...it is a process to break old eating habits.

oh, its not stupid at all! its a very good thing, scientifically proven! but every time reward your self for more pounds, next time reward yourself after 4 pounds, then 7, ex.

Hey don't feel bad! You can reward yourself every now and then, just don't eat the whole cheesecake, portion control, that's the key!
