I think the Bible says if you have sex with someone you are married in the eyes of God. If they never had a ceremony, well, did Adam and Eve have a ceremony? Was Eve Adam's wife? There ya go!

Adam and Eve were joined together through flesh and were one flesh before the law.
God did not have sex with Mary.

In the bible it says that the body is weak and if you must have sex then you should be married so that you are not living in lust. Being married is (supposed to be) a life long commitment. Adam and Eve did not have a ceremony.

yes they did have a ceremony, its just not like the ceremonies we have today. If you read Genesis it will say something like " and the two became one flesh" the writer of the book of Genesis was just repeating what God had spoken, so if you think of it God performed the 1st wedding ceremony !! No Mary was/is Gods bride as is the church. Don't you know how sex is perfomed??

God knocked up Mary behind her fiance's back (so to speak). God did it much like Zeus and so many ancient gods did it. Zeus was always getting women pregnant. Hercules was one of his sons through an illegitimate coupling.
Now it gets really creepy, though. Mary is often called the Mother of God, so that means God had sex with his mother.
God may have done the same thing with Abraham's wife Sarah.

If there is a God, I don't think he really worries about whether we've gave uncle sam 50 bucks and hung out in front of judge for 10 minutes.
That's one of the problems with christianity, God cares too much! He's all opinionated and he's usually wrong!

christians like to think that god didn't have sex with mary. instead, they think he zapped her with his magic insemination ray gun.
but i'm with the unconventional way of thinking. how can christ be the son of god without being created from god's semen? or better yet, for trinitarian believers, how can christ use his own semen to inseminate himself?

God didn't marry Mary. He just artificially inseminated her.
Jesus was the one who was married to Mary Magadalene in Canaan. Thus the worry of Jesus' mother when they ran out of wine for the guests.
