The Why and the How cannot be understood by humans at this stage. No one, and I mean, no one knows how and why. We might catch a glimpse of Why and How sometime, but it is out of our comprehension. Those that say they know with Conviction, are deluding themselves.

God created the heaven and the earth. WHY? So he would have somewhere to put people. HOW? With the words of his mouth He spoke the world into existance.
Hebrew 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

In the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth by simply speaking them into being. He did not have to do any work. He simply spoke it into being. The Word of God further in the Bible states that we were created to praise God and give Him glory. May God Bless U.

Ha, here we see that the religious explanation explains less and is nowhere near as satisfactory as the scientific understandings.
The likely reality is that a collision of dimensional membranes created a transfer of mass with enough explosive energy to spur the big bang. The Earth formed from the debris along the way (by virtue of gravity and physics), and the atmosphere was a natural result given the composition of gases and chemicals available.

My understanding is that heaven was created for all of us. Earth was created because of those who do not like to stay in heaven. We are now relearning how the earth is created. After that, we will be able to relearn how the heaven was created.

We will never know until the times come. What i know is that everything in this universals in interlink. By the way tell you a joke so that you will not use too much of your brain power thinking all these. It goes:
A little boy goes to his father and asks "Daddy, how was I born?"
The father answers: "Well son, I guess one day you will need to find out anyway!
Your Mom and I first got together in a chat room on Yahoo.
Then I set up a date via e-mail with your Mom and we met at a cyber-cafe.
We sneaked into a secluded room, where your mother agreed to a download from my hard drive.
As soon as I was ready to upload, we discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall, and since it was too late to hit the delete button, nine months later a little Pop-Up appeared that said: You got Male!!!
All the best to you and with Best Regard!

If you claim upon a "god" then you must assume that there is no beginning or end, no chicken or egg that came first or last, there is only eternity or failure to exist further.
If you believe in eternity then "why" we exist is incidental to "how", because in the end of each life cycle, "how" we existed in relationship to that which surrounds determines whether the spirit expressed, through the ways we gained our means will discontinue or evolve again.

God got an idea....he would create sons and a place for them to live....he would make some invisible to be close to him and serve him in heaven ...and he would make others of flesh to serve him on earth.
But his first chore was to make his first and only, made by his own hands, son, Michael. Then he told this son...let's make some more stuff. And he let his son do the driving.....he made the angels, expanse, earth and man and animals..not necessarily in that order.
And he looked at it all and it was good.

If you have the right resources but are all alone and bored, what would you do? I am sure you will try to entertain yourself with newer and newer creations. Just like it is said 'an empty mind is devil's workshop', just apply it to God (which I am sure puritans will find sinful) and you will get your answer.
Thanks everyone for the thumbs down, in advance.....
