I feel horrible about Diego. He was actually a very nice and articulate person. I heard he hit at about 100mph so i hope there was no alcohol involved in the incident. He was a thrill seeker doing anything for a rush and he lived his life to the fullest. If Mayweather/De La Hoya was half the fight Corrales/Castillo was then maybe boxing would have been saved last weekend. The kid had heart and i appreciated it when he fought.

This is a very sad day in the boxing world. Those of us who saw him fight will never forget the excitement he brought in the ring. Frietas, Garcia, Castillo, Casamayor.....those fights will never be forgotten.

He was a true fans fighter. Never there to call it quits, duck from a fight and not afraid to go out on his shield.

I ran into Chico in Vegas on plenty of occasions....he was always hanging around the arena signing autographs and talking boxing to the fans while other fighters would not....He was the last guy to leave making sure everyone had a pic..... He was a genuine guy and very down to earth to the fans of the sport. He deserves lots of respect in my book and to all true fans of the sport....

He was one of my favorites and he will be forever missed! He was a warrior and showed heart every time he stepped into that ring. Very humble guy the world has lost a talented fighter and a true spirit..

very sad. He was a great boxer...even though he had some losses in his record, he will always be remembered as a great boxer for his fight with Jose Luis Castillo!

Motorcycles can be dangerous. Wear safety gear and approved helmet. Accidents will always happen and it just happened to be him. RIP warrior.
