I appreciate them. But when I was in the military it was a different story. In 1969 I went to apply for a job and a sign in the window said, "Viet Nam vets need not apply!"

I wouldn't wish that on todays troops....regardless of the this sad and unpopular war we're in now.

I support the troops, doesn't mean I support the war. And no, I don't know anyone currently in the military.

Yes, I support the troops. It's a shame that their "Commander guy" made such a foolish mistake and is getting them killed. It's a further shame that they have been sent in with inadequate training and that less that 50% would report a peer for causing the death of a civilian.

The guy who reported Abu Ghraib is a real hero and the type of person we all should strive to be.

Every day should be military appreciation day.

If you enjoy your freedom you should thank a veteran.

My son is going in the air force in a few months.

defense force Day identity ought to nineteenth, no longer at present. it really is my know-the way it really is the day targeted for the appreciation of our defense force... ofcourse they should be favourite ordinary, yet merely conversing in words of designating the day of observance. I help out troops consistently, yet I disagree with our modern-day administration and the present warfare in iraq.

I know several reservists, some have been overseas multiple times. Good men and women who do their job and miss their kids.
