I haven't started dating this older guy yet but I am considering it. I am 25 and he is 40 we have great conversations and I think that is what attracts me the most. He has accomplished a lot and I am on my way to being where he is and I believe that he can teach me a lot along my journey. I don't know I need a little edvice from men and women.

You both are not under age, so who cares what people think.

It is not wrong or even illegal. Depending on your family background it may be comfortable for you. Mainly it is just plain stupid. A 40 year old man who wants to hang with a 25 year old has issues concerning dealing with a woman with equal experience. Being a mentor to someone is not the same as being soul mates. Most any man loves getting in the panties of a younger woman so don't think you are special just because you attracted his attention. Don't you want to build a life with someone instead of just tagging along and taking lessons in life?

There's nothing wrong with dating someone 15 years older than you. Age shouldn't be an issue if you're love with someone

I'm 24 and married to a 50 year old, we have been married for 3 years and we have 2 children. It has been working great for us, if you really like him you guys can work it out.

Good luck

He could be your mentor, your adviser, and a friend. If you have strong feelings for him, then those three options tend to dim. Love affairs are a lot more fun than cerebral affairs.

In answer to your question--it depends on where you are and where he is in your respective lives. And of course, where you want to go.

nope 25 and 40 is not a wrong thing at all. you are both adults so the age should not matter.

I would advise against it. I spent my 20s with someone older and then we broke up. I feel I missed a lot because I was with someone older.

Good luck! :)

Really at that age you are old enough to make your own decision. Personally i see nothing wrong with it. If you were 15 then i would but you are an adult. If he makes you happy and is single then i say go for it

it isn't wrong at all. how it would matter if you were under 18 but ya go for it. age doesn't even matter theses day anyway and even if anyone says anything just don't pay attention to them just as long as you both have the same feelings for one another thats all that matters.

Nothing wrong with that at all. Now if you were 15 and he was 30 you would have major issues

my lady is a lot younger than me and not someone i would have truly considered before we met --- now i cant imagine life without her ---- its all about how you get on together --- age has nothing to do with it -- there may be problems in the future BUT with good will you can resolve these problems --- best wishes
