Some music will make you worst. I would recommend that you listen to soothing, chanting and relaxing music in a quite place without any distraction.
It takes alot of patience and once you are able to focus them, it's very relaxing.
Another way is to realx yourself in a warm tub of water, play the above music in the bathroom and focus on the. In addition, burn either a Lavender candle or one type that you can pour few droplets into your tub of water. The bathroom lights should not be too bright.
I tried both the above as recommended by my psychiatrist and it work for me.
You might want to try them out. It's good for you.

Absolutely!! Even the deaf need music [sound through vibrations]. I would find it impossible to live without music and would quite frankly go insane if I had to do without it for any length of time! Music soothes the soul - yes!!

two things.....your soul is immortal, not mortal. And as it is immortal, your soul cannot suffer damage, and therefore never has need of healing. What music can do is soothe your mental state when it is in chaos.

I don't know. It might for some people. Actually I've never cared for music, not ever. Yet some people devote their lives to it? Beats me why?
