When my man cries...I cry. I think it can be one the bravest things for a man to do. Men are taught to be strong. Crying is thought to be a sign of weakness. I think it shows a confident man. As women, we should just hold them close and cry with them.

The best thing you can do is be there for him, and make sure he knows that he can say anything to you and only receive encouragement in return. It is incredibly sad, I've seen my ex cry before and all I could do is cry with him. That seemed to help. I think you just need to let him know that you're on the same emotional level and that you'll be his crying shoulder every time.
Thanks for the advice on the dream question! Good luck, I hope all goes well :)

We all cry. Whether we allow others to see us or not is another thing. I've seen my BF cry numerous times in the years we've been together, and I've always done what I could to comfort him.
Life can be harsh, no doubt.

You give him a shoulder to cry on if he wants it. It feels awkward cause you are so used to them being so strong. Let him know you are there if he wants to talk, but also ask if he needs some space, sometimes they do. They feel embarassed you see them cry. All you can do is be there for them and offer them all the comort you can no matter how awkward.

Hug and hold him while he cries. Losing a pet is heart breaking.
Imagine being the Vet. You'd see people break down in tears frequently. They also try and be supportive, but it's very difficult on them too.

Yes i have seen my bf cry.. Knowing what to do depends on what he is crying for, if it was because of his dog then hug him and let him know if he wants to talk you are there.

I saw my husband of 22 years cry for the first time when his mother passed away last month. My heart absolutely broke for him. I just held him and let him cry. Later that day, he thanked me for being the strong one and that he loved me for being there for him.

My finace gets red-eyed, but I've never seen him cry...I think it would be really jarring to me, but if he feels the need to cry, I would want him to...besides, I'm a crybaby, and he puts up with that, so I guess I'd have to return his kindness.

Let him cry and dont make a scene about it because men dont really like to cry in front of people. It might embarrass him. Put your arm around him or something and hug him but dont be like....."Oh my gosh........ your crying....." Dont really point it out or anything.

Only once! When his father died. I'm sure I'll see it again when his dog goes too. Luckily we still have a few more years with her...I hope! Just be understanding and sympathetic.
