It depends on what kind of head unit you have. If it's a factory radio, you need an auxiliary input adapter. If it's an after-market radio with an auxiliary input built in, you may need a stereo patch cable. If it has rear RCA-type inputs, you need a stereo mini plug to RCA plug Y-adapter cable. If it has a front or rear mini-plug auxiliary input, then you need a stereo cable with 3.5mm mini plugs at each end.
