yep. Miriam his sister followed him and told bathia she can help her find a wet nurse...and tada brought her mother, so that Moses nurses from his mom!!! in life nothing is ever a coincidence everything is planned to the last detail. I was always taught that g-d always plans the salvation before the catastrophe, he made moses live so that he may use him to take the Jews out of Egypt.

Yes it was. The little girl Miriam that followed the basket that Moses real mother put him in is the one that asked the daughter of pharoah did she want her to get someone to nurse the child for her. So she went got her mother. Miriam is Moses' sister. [Exodus 2:7 ]Then said his sister to Pharaoh's daughter, Shall I go and call to thee a nurse of the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for thee? [Ex 2:8 ] And Pharaoh's daughter said to her, Go. And the maid went and called the child's mother.

Good question. Here is what the Bible says..."and pharaoh's daughter said to her, Go. and the maid went and called the child's mother. and pharaoh's daughter said unto her, take this child away, and nurse it for me, and I will give thee thy wages. and the woman took the child, and nursed it." Exodus 2:8-9
So here we see that not only was it Moses real mother but she was paid to nurse Moses.

Please tell me you don't take this stuff seriously. Pharaohs had names, and were not simply called Pharaoh. The fact that they do not mention any of them by name is enough to tell you that the writers had NO CLUE as to who was in power, or the time-frame in which this was supposed to have happened. They just stole the story from another religion and pasted 'Moses' over the main character. The Palestinians were well known plagiarists, and had no problem taking credit for other people's ideas.

Oddly enough, the basket in the reeds story is also found on a monument of Sargon I, and was probably plagiarized by the writers of the Old Testament when they were fleshing out their fictional Moses character.
Sargon was even found and raised by royalty.
Imagine that.

That's the way the story goes. His sister was watching, and offered to tell the princess where she could find a good wet nurse for little Mo.
